preppy text tutorial

This tutorial will show you how to make preppy text like THIS

You'll need, Stripes, Scanlines

First, Type your text.

After, color your text, however you would like.

Then, on that same layer, blending options, stroke 5 (use the scanline pattern), pattern overlay (use the stripe pattern;blend mode, soft light) (Outer glow;spread 5 size 4)Settings

After, duplicate that layer, then on the top layer, blending options, uncheck outer glow, then go to stroke, gradient(size 4).Setttings

Then, Duplicate that layer. And on the Top layer, blending options, stroke(size 3), color black.
